Just read about it on Wiley Wiggins' Twitter, including a script read and Q&A. Here are the details!

"Voto Latino Foundation and March For Science are dedicated to empowering communities through civic engagement and issue advocacy. We're proud to be partnering with March For Science to host a LIVE VIRTUAL table reading of Dazed and Confused on October 11th at 7:30pm EST." A donation is required to view the event, but it's a great cause.
This is almost the entire main cast - big names and smaller ones as well. Just the fact that they are all down for this is amazing (and almost everyone in the cast is alive and healthy). Missing from the poster by name are: Shawn Andrews (Kevin Pickford), Milla Jovovich (Michelle), Jason O. Smith (Melvin), the football coaches, Mr. Payne, Carl's mom, Mitch's mom, Pickford's mom and dad, the guy who shoots at the car, and David Blackwell (the liquor store clerk). Of course also Renee Zellweger, but she has no lines in the film.
Terry Mross, who played Coach Conrad, sadly died at the young age of 68 in 2019. Fred Lerner, the stunt coordinator who played the man with the gun is also passed, having died in 2009. Everyone else is alive as far as I can tell. Pickford's mom and Carl's mom have never acted in anything else besides Dazed, according to IMDB, so I can't be sure.
Hopefully there will be some interesting surprise guests to play Coach Conrad and the man with the gun. No idea who they will go with to play Pickford and Michelle.
This will be magnificent, even virtually! Woo hoo!
UPDATE October 8, 2020: Some of the special guests have been announced. Jensen Ackles (Supernatural), Lamorne Morris, Eiza Gonzalez, Adrianne Palicki, Ricky Whittle and Jason Reitman. Reitman will be the narrator and of course he has run an in-person Dazed script reading not too long ago in Los Angeles. No indication of who will play what roles, and I can't even guess, other than Ackles as Pickford? I also haven't given any thought to the idea that all announced cast members would play anything other than their original roles. That would be slightly disappointing, to be honest. I've watched a few of these over the course of COVID-19 and it's always weird when people switch roles or double up on roles.
One other note: I would also expect technical difficulties with all facets of the technology and the actors. Poor internet connections, poor home wi-fi, people muted when speaking, etc. It's just a fact so if you think you'll be watching the movie live except in 2020, re-adjust that expectation. Also, the music will be missing (I assume), which is such a big part of the film. Nevertheless, I still fully expect this to be an amazing night.
UPDATE October 10, 2020: Ashton Kutcher has been announced as part of the live stream. Who will he play? Your guess is as good as mine. Maybe he is Pickford and I'm wrong about Ackles? EDIT TO ADD: I just watched Adam Goldberg's Insta-stories for today and I see he participated in the tech rehearsal with the rest of the cast today. He said it reminded him so much of the first day they started rehearsing 28 years ago in preparation for shooting. Anyway, I digress. The real news is that Ben Affleck can't make it because wherever he is (Adam joked "the batcave"), his wi-fi/internet is so bad that there's just no way for him to participate. I guess this makes sense, he hasn't promoted it on his Twitter or anyplace else. No idea where he is in the world in the middle of a damn pandemic that has such poor wi-fi, but nothing to be done about it at this point. NOW it makes sense that Ashton Kutcher was just announced today. I still can't do anything more than guess who is playing who, but from what I know of the 2 actors I would think Ackles would be better at O'Bannion and Kutcher better as Pickford. However, the last minute addition of Kutcher makes me think he has to be replacing Affleck as O'Bannion. I can't deny that this kinda sucks in my opinion. But again, it is what it is. One other tidbit: McConaughey could not attend the tech rehearsal due to his schedule (He has to be there when Texas plays, he does a lot of work with the UoT in Austin, although he's done so many remote things in the past 6 months on late night shows and whatnot, they can be pretty sure his setup is good).
Here are the revamped graduation-style photos from the Dazed Yearbook that was published at the time the film was released. I'll have to do a post about it. These are obviously changed to match tonight's event.
